And online works UNLIKE LEGO WORLDS OVER THERE ——>. such an amazing game, the graphics are beautiful, the leg- i mean brick feel is amazing, its super easy to build in, and ramming a train into a creation filled with thrusters and watching it explode into little tinny itty bitty pieces like my sou- uhm... BUY IT! :D. In my opinion, Brick Rigs is one of, if not the best LEGO-like building games on Steam. It's got good graphics, gameplay, and a great variety of bricks to build with too. And even if it seems like the variety of bricks isn't enough by itself, you can combine or clip two (or more) bricks together to make your own custom brick in a sense. While the building system can be daunting at first, once you master it, you've basically mastered the entire game. And if building isn't your thing, this game has steam workshop support so you can download creations from anyone. Not to mention that you can play this game in multiplayer too. This game isn't perfect though. It's got it's fair share of bugs like any other early-access game on steam, and updates can be a bit sporadic sometimes. Overall though, I think this game is an excellent value for it's current price of $14.99 USDOverall, I rate this game an 8/10.. Best Sandbox with Lego and play zombie mode. I recommend!. This game was good. I had my fun with it. But unfortunately, all good things must come to an end.The Developer------------------------------------------------------------------------ --- -- - -Basically, the game is full of bugs, and the developer doesn't fix them. The developer also doesn't seem to actually care for the community he has built up, only showing blog posts to the most popular of builders or community moderators (not that it matters, the updates are mostly pointless) When he does eventually update the game (once every year it seems) it doesn't fix bugs. Oh no, he decides to add guns, pointless bricks that nobody ♥♥♥♥ing asked for, faces that I can literally re-create in this review because it's just text, etc. You know, he actually does have a roadmap for this game. But he doesn't actually follow it, Oh, no no no, he decides to add the♥♥♥♥♥♥that I already mentioned before. But, one thing was added from the roadmap. One ♥♥♥♥ing thing in the span of about two years. A "remastered" version of the city map.The Community------------------------------------------------------------------------ --- -- - -The community is the pure embodiment of cancer. If you even think about asking the developer when the next update is, or to actually fix something, you will get this response from the moderators, or the general community members. "He isn't your ♥♥♥♥ing slave!" or, "He's working on it, give the man a break!" this is also coming from the community that frequently asks for ♥♥♥♥♥♥ weapons to be added, or pointless bricks that improve the game in no way. There are also plenty of people who reupload others' content with no credit to the original owner. yes, I understand other games have this issue, but at least the steam moderators of those other games actually give a♥♥♥♥♥♥about it. At first when this was becoming a real problem, the developer just wanted to let it slide. Telling the moderators not to remove the stolen content. Eventually, he said "oki you can delet reuplode now" after about a month of this happening. (The moderators still didn't do jack♥♥♥♥♥♥though.)The Maps------------------------------------------------------------------------ --- -- - -The new city map (and old one tbh) look like they were put together with little, to no thought or effort whatsoever. Just one of them looks sliiightly better. While on the topic of maps, one of the maps (Canyon) is literally just bought off the unreal store, and slapped into this game with some minor edits. It wouldn't be a problem if he didn't say he ♥♥♥♥ing made it himself (this was discovered by a friend of mine while he was browsing the shop) Both city maps also have these roads, where if you drive on them (Literally what roads are for), It will just bug out your vehicle most of the time, often flinging it into the air for do reason what so ever. This bug was present from day ONE. And the dev has not made any effort to fix that, or any other bugs on the other maps. Another note, the dirt is more ♥♥♥♥ing grippy than the actual roads.The Moderators------------------------------------------------------------------------ --- -- - -From the bottom of my heart, ♥♥♥♥ you all. (except you Noxi, you were cool) These guys were the worst discord/steam mods I've ever ♥♥♥♥ing seen. Falsely banning people? Check. Not giving a♥♥♥♥♥♥if somebody plagiarized a workshop item? Check. Censorship of criticism? Big ♥♥♥♥ing check. The moderators are literally just promoted based on how popular they are on the workshop, instead of skill, or anything else. Take TomlocoXD, or Alex for example. (Though Tom isn't a moderator anymore because they realized how much they ♥♥♥♥ed up with that) If somebody is actually RIGHTFULLY banned from the discord, or workshop, (such as Blade302, Ketoff, or even me) if you just get somebody influential to simply ask for you to get unbanned, you will most likely get unbanned. Without any ♥♥♥♥ing question. (once again, Blade, Ketoff, and me) Also, if you argue with the moderators about anything, they will simply just warn you. If you're lucky of course.The Verdict------------------------------------------------------------------------ --- -- - -Don't buy this. Yes. It may be the only game like this on Steam. But it's just not ♥♥♥♥ing worth it at this point. Go buy Stormworks or literally anything better.. First thing I'm gonna say is: I love this game. It's fun to mess around in, it's fun to build, and it's helped me make a lot of great friends. But I can't recommend this game. I love it, I can't stress that enough. But I doubt you will. The developer won't give us a changelog. He won't listen to the community, and, oh the community. What a pile of rubbish it is! They have this insane idea that, when someone like me and a group of friends suggests something AS MINUTE AS A CHANGELOG, they go bat****. They say "he isn't your slave", "He can do what he wants", and **** like that. I am sorry, but I just cannot stand it. We give a suggestion, and they dogpile on us. The moderators slander us, the community accuses us of spamming dislikes on anything on the front page (despite the fact that it happened to us as well, and that moderators can check that ****, but instead they sit on their lazy ***es and endorse the toxicity to anyone who disagrees). As I said, I love this game. Or should I say, loved. The develpoer cared about the developements and the community, oh the comunity, was just us. Me, some friends, some who were to be friends and conform to the toxicity, and some who were to be friends and eventually get shunned for speaking out. It's a hivemind. This is from someone who was inside or a while. So my conclusion? Don't bother. Get a Lego game, try out Scrap Mechanic or Rigs of Rods, but whatever you do, no NOT get sucked into this community's endless pit of toxicity.
